Prisoner, 14, briefly escapes from Saskatoon court

A 14-year-old male prisoner is facing charges after escaping from Saskatoon Provincial Court just before noon on Friday.
Police said the youth allegedly slipped out after giving staff false information.
He was taken into custody about seven minutes later. He was downtown, near the city’s Traffic Bridge.
The teen faces a charge of escaping lawful custody.
