Warman woman accused of stabbing baby

A Warman woman has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a five-month-old baby on Wednesday.

paNOW is learning from RCMP that the stabbing took place around suppertime.

Police were at a Warman home keeping the peace while a family court order was being served.

That’s when the baby boy was stabbed.

RCMP members provided medical assistance while waiting for an ambulance.

The baby is now in hospital with critical injuries.

The 21-year-old woman, from Warman, has been charged with attempted murder, carrying a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.

Warman is approximately 25 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
