Saskatoon police locate escaped prisoner

An escaped prisoner is back behind bars after getting a brief taste of freedom Monday morning.

Saskatoon police located Jesse Lee Woodward, 26, shortly after he escaped from the Saskatoon Correctional Centre around 11 a.m.

The medium-risk offender slipped away while being transferred to court. Woodward was being held on a sexual assault charge and assault with a weapon charge from Alberta.
