Vehicle robbery thwarted by victim

The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating an attempted robbery on the weekend.
According to a police report, a man told the owner of a vehicle he would give them some gas money but instead pulled out a knife and wanted the driver’s vehicle.
The robbery was not successful.
The report shows that when the man got out of the passenger door and went around to the driver’s side the driver knocked him down with the vehicle door.
