RCMP investigate house fire in Northern Saskatchewan

Two people remain unaccounted for following a house fire in Northern Saskatchewan.

RCMP said they were called about a fire in Timber Bay, shortly after 2 a.m. today.

Fire crews from Timber Bay attended to the scene — on arrival the house was already fully engulfed in flames.

Fire fighters worked to keep the fire from spreading to the bushes and trees.

The house was completely destroyed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation with an RCMP fire examiner expected to be on scene later this afternoon.

Timber Bay is located just outside Montreal Lake, about an hour’s drive north of Prince Albert.
