Saskatoon pedestrian killed in collision Friday

A Saskatoon woman is dead after a fatal collision Friday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m., when the 24-year-old was walking and struck by a vehicle in the 200 block of Wedge Road. That's in the Dundonald neighbourhood in the city's west side.

She was transported to hospital, but succumbed to her injuries. The driver was a 17-year-old boy.

An investigation is ongoing, and traffic in the area will be closed until further notice.
