Second girl sentenced in robbery
The second of three teenage girls charged with the robbery at the Husky Gas & Food Store in Prince Albert has been sentenced.
The young woman sentenced today received 12 months of open custody, followed by six months of community supervision and six months of probation.
The incident occurred on March 7, 2011. The 17-year-old girl robbed the store of cash and cigarettes after one of the girls she was with brandished a steak knife.
It is a less severe sentence than what her counterpart received on Apr. 6.
