Police investigating two assaults from weekend

The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating a couple of assaults over the weekend.
One involved an intoxicated 55-year-old man being struck in the face and knocked to the ground near River Street and First Avenue West at 2:45 a.m. on Saturday.
This was after he gave the unknown man a cigarette.
The 55-year-old man suffered a facial laceration and possible concussion and was transported to the Victoria Hospital.
