Saskatoon police chase ends in a sticky situation

A midnight pursuit for Saskatoon police left the accused stuck in the mud.

Officers attempted to stop what they call a suspicious vehicle in the north industrial area Thursday night. The driver refused to pull over, and led them on a chase out of town.

Air support was required to pull the man over who became stuck on a flooded road.

The 50-year-old faces a number of charges, including failing to stop and possession of drugs.

Fortunately no one was hurt in the chase.
