Community Grant Program

Project Application Deadline: May 1st, 2011

The Community Initiatives Fund (CIF) invites applications from Saskatchewan community organizations and voluntary groups involved in charitable activity. Some restrictions apply.

Eligible projects identify development opportunities for children, youth and families that focus on prevention or early intervention.

Applications will no longer be accepted by fax or email but must be sent by mail with two (2) copies enclosed.

Community-based decision-making is an integral part of the CIF. CIF board members are experienced community volunteers and make all final grant decisions, based on advice from regional committees. Regional committee representatives are from agencies and community organizations involved in human service delivery in each region. This approach helps ensure provincial funds are responsive to community priorities.

The CIF continues to financially support community-based projects in Saskatchewan with a portion of the profit from Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw.
