Leslie Samoleski makes court appearance
A Prince Albert corrections worker facing charges for a fatal hit and run and a 15-hour standoff with police had his bail hearing adjourned today.
Leslie Brian Samoleski, 43, is charged with numerous offences, including impaired driving causing death, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and possessing a firearm dangerous to the public peace.
Samoleski is accused of hitting 14-year-old Montana Netmaker with a motor vehicle on Central Ave. between Southwood Drive and 31st Street East at about 9:30 p.m. Apr. 11. Netmaker died from her injuries.
Samoleski was arrested after barricading himself inside his home on Steele Bay for 15 hours.
