The North Central Enterprise Region is currently excepting nominations for the 2011-2013 Board of Directors. We are seeking 5 Directors from the following categories:
• Industry/Business Representatives- open individuals representing small business, manufacturers, processors, industrial companies, resource businesses, and any other for-profit enterprise with an interest in the economic progress within the geographic boundaries of the NCER.
• Municipal Representatives (Rural and Urban)- open to individuals representing rural municipalities or urban municipalities within the geographic boundaries of the NCER.
• Aboriginal Representatives- open to individuals representing First Nations or Metis organizations/communities within the geographical boundaries of the NCER
• Market Representatives – open to individuals representing post-secondary institutions, labour groups, professional associations, youth organizations, chambers of commerce/boards of trade, tourism agencies and organizations with the capacity to contribute to the growth and development of the region within the geographic boundaries of the NCER.
The North Central Enterprise Region consists of the following Rural Municipalities along with the towns, villages, resort villages, and First Nations communities, found within their boundaries. Spiritwood, Duck Lake, Kinistino, The Prince Albert National Park, Canwood, Prince Albert, Garden River, Paddockwood, Fish Creek, Buckland, Leask, St. Louis, Lakeland, Shellbrook, Birch Hills, Blaine Lake and Alvena.
In order to nominate an individual to the 2011-2013 term Board of Directors, the nominating organization must be a member of the North Central Enterprise Region. All nominations must be submitted to our Nomination Committee no later than May 14th, 2011.
