Man fined for carrying firearm

The man who was carrying a long-barreled firearm in Prince Albert is paying for that crime.

Percy Constant, 36, has to pay a $500 fine and a $75 surcharge for the unauthorized possession of a firearm.

He was spotted with the weapon on Oct. 3, 2010, on the 1700 block of 12th Avenue West.

The rest of his charges were withdrawn.
