A 14-year-old girl has died after being struck by a vehicle on Central Avenue.

The incident happened last night around 8:30 p.m. between Southwood Drive and 31st Street East.

Police cordoned off the street and the victim was taken away in an ambulance.

No other details are being released by the authorities as the investigation continues.
