City to make announcement on Pineview Terrace

An announcement about the funding of the new Pineview Terrace Lodge is set for Tuesday morning.

Members of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region and City of Prince Albert have set a media conference regarding the replacement project.

The city and health region have been meeting over the past couple of months to find a way for the city to pay their part of the local share of the facility.

Initially, the city said they would be unable to come up with their share, of 35 per cent of the project, but in early spring the local share was decreased to 20 per cent as part of a series of provincial health related funding.

Mayor Jim Scarrow and health board chair Gord Dobrowolsky will make a presentation during the media event and take questions.
