Second Goshen School
Apr 8, 2011 | 3:32 PM
This is the 2nd Goshen School #10. William Miller was its first Trustee from 1884- 1904. This school was located at 4th Street and 11 Ave East.
Goshen was a separate town from the Prince Albert Settlement, and was joined with the City prior to 1904, although it is difficult to find an exact date. Goshen was part of the Hudson’s Bay Reserve land east of 6th Avenue East. It had its own fire department, stores, and of course Hudson’s Bay buildings.
If anyone has information about Goshen the Bill Smiley Archives would be glad to have a copy of it, please call the Historical Museum at 764-2992.
