Investigation into Saskatoon plane crash will be a lengthy one

News Talk Radio has learned the investigation into a Saskatoon plane crash Friday night will be a lengthy process.

“Because at this stage there's no indication why the events happened the way they did,” said Transportation Safety Board regional manager Peter Hildebrand.

That means investigators must go through every system of the 30-year-old plane, including every maintenance record ever done.

“A lot of pieces and parts of the aircraft are required to be maintained, overhauled, renewed and replaced,” said Hildebrand.
