RCMP investigating suspicious death near Montreal Lake

A 49-year-old man was found dead Sunday morning in Northern Saskatchewan.

According to RCMP, it happened near the Northern community of Montreal Lake.

“We believe it was between midnight and 5 a.m. this morning, however that can not be confirmed,” said Cpl. Garnet Waldbauer.

RCMP are treating the death as suspicious.

“The investigators believe that the deceased was struck by an unknown vehicle,” said Waldbauer.
