Shopper Drugmart Tree of Life Campaign Tops up Give a Little Life Day

The Shoppers Drug Mart “Tree of Life” campaign has helped to push the Victoria Hospital Foundation’s GIVE a little life DAY goal over the top.

The Shoppers Drug Mart “Tree of Life” campaign is focused on Women’s Health. The funds were used to help purchase specialized medical equipment to upgrade the Victoria Regional Hospital’s Operating Rooms. The equipment included a Hysteroscopy Unit as well as new and upgraded surgical equipment.

Shoppers Drug Mart stores in the Cornerstone and South Hill Mall locations in Prince Albert helped to raise funds through their annual “Tree of Life” campaign. In total the Prince Albert Shoppers Drug Mart stores donated $2,487.00.

The GIVE a little life DAY goal was set at $400,000. The surgical equipment has been ordered and has already started to arrive at the Victoria Regional Hospital.
