Slippery highways with reduced visibility around Saskatchewan

Fog continues to linger over most of Saskatchewan Sunday morning, causing some travel advisories for several southeast highways near Carlyle.

“Carlyle section (is) travel not recommended. Icy, slippery sections, snow pack, swirling snow as well with reduced visibility down to the U-S border,” said Gwen Badgley with the highway hotline.

Regina, Moose Jaw, Swift Current, Wynyard and Saskatoon are all reporting reduced visibility as well.

Aside from the fog, most of the province is reporting general winter driving conditions. However, conditions are good on Highway 11 between Regina and Saskatoon up to Dundurn, as well as north and northwest of Saskatoon on Highways 11 and 4.
