Charges laid in RCMP shooting in Melfort

RCMP has now laid charges against a Melfort man involved in a shooting with Mounties over the weekend.
Joseph Longman, 45, is facing several firearms offences as well as dangerous driving and uttering threats.
Early Saturday morning, Melfort RCMP responded to a domestic dispute involving a firearm, before reaching a house a vehicle pulled away.
Mounties followed the vehicle and when a man got out caring a long gun, officers fired shots.
