Building boom continues

Prince Albert is continuing to see record growth when it comes to construction permits.

According to a press release, the city has issued 67 permits to date. Of those permits 43 are residential and 24 are commercial. The number of permits has nearly doubled as last year the total number sat at 36 permits.

New building permits are worth a total of $8.2 million compared to $7.1 million this time last year.

New Construction in the city has been going up over the last five years.
