To Save a Life Team Works Throughout Northern SK

The To Save a Life team have been busy traveling across the northwest part of Saskatchewan by visiting the communities of Loon Lake, Ministikwan, Big Island, Onion Lake and Frog Lake.

As many meetings have been established with community officials and school representatives its been an incredible pleasure working with each these First Nations Reserves.

We have nine events scheduled in the next two weeks and have many other communities on the line to get scheduled as we finish up the finalizing of dates.

In the business of events the team is taking the ASIST training provided by Canadian Mental Health Assoc. – Prince Albert Branch this Thursday and Friday.

This is a critical course for all those involved helping individuals who are in the immediate risk of suicide. We look forward to these workshops and being able to apply the knowledge gained immediately into what we are doing with all the schools and communities.
