A woman from Regina has been killed in the mountains of British Columbia.
A group of four people was hit by an avalanche Saturday near Smithers.
Keith Davis with Crisis Communications spoke to News Talk Radio and said that three of them were buried.
“The person that was not buried, using a beacon, was able to locate, and dig out, one of the buried skiers alive,” Davis said. He says the two survivors then dug out the body of the 52-year-old woman from Regina.
