Mushers and dog sled teams line the street for the beginning of the 14th annual Canadian Challenge Sled Dog Race.

There are 15 teams are taking part in both the 12-dog and 8-dog races.

The streets of downtown Prince Albert were packed with families, kids and curious bystanders .

The excited dogs were barking so loudly it was difficult to hear people standing nearby.
