Wind chill warning continues for Regina, Fort Qu’Appelle, Melfort, Tisdale areas

A downright frigid night in Saskatchewan with temperatures dipping well past the -30 C mark Sunday night in many parts of the province.

A wind chill warning was issued by Environment Canada for much of the east central part of the province, but only part of that remains in effect Monday morning.

Remaining under the warning is the City of Regina and Fort Qu'Appelle region and the Melfort and Tisdale area.

Mike Russo with the weather office says the cause is wind combined with the low temperatures.
