Saskatchewan government seeking summer Saskatchewanderer

Feb 21, 2011 | 10:42 AM

The Saskatchewan government is looking for their very first Saskatchewanderer for what they've dubbed the “best summer job ever.”

“We're looking for young people, students, to go to talk to other people, look at different places, towns, cities, villages, festivals and events — everything that helps tell Saskatchewan's story,” said Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Bill Hutchinson.

Those stories, photos and video will then be posted to a blog.

Hutchinson says the idea for the pilot project came after a highly successful blog at the Saskatchewan Pavillion at the Vancouver Olympics.
