Activities open for Family Day

Looking for something to do with the family for Family Day shouldn’t be too hard in Prince Albert.

Despite it being a statutory holiday, there are many places open to the public today and many of them are free of charge.

Both the Alfred Jenkins Field House and Prince Albert Arts Centre are hosting free programs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. There are also free activities at the Margo Fournier Center.

The Dave G. Steuart Arena is having a free skate time from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

For those wanting to forget about winter and go swimming, the Frank Dunn Pool has public swim today from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
