S.H.A.R.E. Requires an Executive Director

Under the general direction and reporting to the Board of Directors of S.H.A.R.E., the Executive Director is responsible for the overall administration of the operations of providing a Residential setting and Vocational/Pre-Vocational Training for persons who have mental health issues.

The applicant should have education, knowledge and experience in Human Relations, Financial Management and Public Relations.  Most importantly, the applicant should have demonstrated empathy for persons with disabilities.

The applicant should have experience with Government funding, administering a Collective Agreement and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.

The applicant must provide a current Criminal Record check for persons working with vulnerable individuals.

Education

A degree or diploma in the Humanities or Business Administration as well as experience in residential services is a definite asset. Further training in Health or the Social Sciences in desirable.

Salary based on experience and qualifications: negotiable.
