Man killed in accident near Leoville

A man has been killed in an accident west of Leoville early Saturday.

Spiritwood RCMP said a 41-year-old man was walking on Hwy. 24 after his car had hit a ditch.

While walking the man was struck by a vehicle and killed.
Police are continuing their investigation but say road conditions at the time were shear ice.

Police said no charges are warranted at this time.
Meanwhile, Hwy. 24 is closed for the investigation.
