Early fire destroys SUV

Prince Albert Fire Department was called out to the scene of a vehicle fire in the early hours of this morning.

One truck, with four fire fighters, responded to the unit block of 27th Street East at 4:30 a.m.

According to the battalion chief, the vehicle, an SUV, was fully involved when they arrived.

It took about 50 minutes to extinguish the blaze.

City police and the fire department are investigating the cause and there is no estimate as to the cost of the damage at this time.
