Lane closures for snow lift

Starting at 9 a.m. today Sixth Avenue East between 15th and 19th Streets will be closed for a snow lift.

One side of Sixth Avenue East will be closed at a time with two-way traffic accommodated on the opposite side.

Crews will then move on to 15th Street West between Fourth and Ninth Avenues in the southerly lane.

The snow lifts are in place to reduce the narrowing of driving lanes due to snow building up.

The city says they apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
