Doctor shortage in Wakaw affects hospital hours
Feb 3, 2011 | 5:27 AM
A doctor shortage in Wakaw means it will not be business as usual at the local hospital, at least temporarily.
The Saskatoon Health Region has found a locum to fill in until permanent doctors are found. But that locum will not be available from February 21rst, until early March 7th.
That means the hospital will close after 7:30 at night, and re-open at 6:30 in the morning during that time.
People should call 9-1-1 if they have an emergency through that span.
