Richie Hall the Riders’ new defensive co-ordinator

Former Edmonton Eskimos head coach Richie Hall is returning to the Saskatchewan Roughriders and will re-join the team's coaching staff as defensive coordinator.

Hall was a part of the Roughriders coaching staff for 15 seasons, eight as defensive coordinator, before leaving in 2009 to serve as the head coach of the Eskimos for two seasons as well as defensive co-ordinator last season.

Hall enjoyed a nine year playing career as a defensive back. He played for the green and white from 1988-1991. He was a defensive back with the Riders when they won the Grey Cup in 1989.
