Four arrested after stolen car smashes into Regina police car

Four suspects are in custody after a stolen car crashed into a Regina police cruiser early Saturday morning.

At about 1 a.m., the thieves stole a car in the Broders Annex area. But when police attempted to stop them, three of the four tried to run away.

However, one suspect jumped into the driver's seat and attempted to make a quick getaway. Instead of driving off, the suspect reversed into the police cruiser.

Police say both cars suffered thousands of dollars worth of damage.

All four suspects face numerous charges.
