Christmas puppies need a loving home

Jan 26, 2011 | 4:48 PM

The SPCA is hoping to find homes for the influx of dogs they get during the Christmas break.

Over the next week, adoption fees will be reduced in order to encourage people to take in one of the dogs.

“We are adjusting our puppy adoption fee to $75 for all puppies under six months old,” said SPCA manager Debbie Lehner.

Adopted dogs will have recieved their first set of vaccinations and will be dewormed and microchipped for identification.
