A look at the top earners in the city hall
In response to a reader request to know more about wages in the city, paNOW staff compiled this report on the top earners in the City of Prince Albert staff.
The latest numbers are from 2009. For 2010, the city approved a wage increase in 2010 of approximately 3.7 per cent. The city’s wages are reported in documents known as the Public Accounts.
The city is required to report and name workers who earn more than $20,000 per year. 2010 numbers will be released around August.
We’ve presented the highest paid staff members overall and in each of the city's departments. As well, we've included councillor's pay and travel expenses. It should be noted that 2009 was an election year so some councillors served for just a portion of the year.
