Local task force nabs Alberta man in drug bust

An Alberta man is in Prince Albert court this morning after a drug bust on Friday.

Travis Marshall Stuve, 26, of Spruce Grove, Alta., is charged with possession of drugs and proceeds of a crime after the weekend bust.

On Friday, the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement team (ISET), comprising of officers from both the Prince Albert Police Service and the Prince Albert RCMP, seized over 94 grams of cocaine and more than eight grams of cannabis.

They also seized a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder and nearly $3,000.

“I'd consider this a significant siezure for the City of Prince Albert,” said Sgt. Andrew Farquhar with the
Prince Albert ISET.

Police said Stuve was arrested without incident after they performed a search warrant in a Prince Albert home following an investigation.

“The matter is still under invest but this person has been known to police for about a month of so,” said Farquhar.
