“Care Essentials Learning Series”

A four-week learning series for families and friends affected by Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia, presented to select communities via Telehealth

By attending this series participants will:

·         Increase their knowledge of the progression of dementia

·         Discuss strategies for reducing caregiver stress

·         Identify changes in communication as dementia progresses

·         Discuss practical approaches to caregiving

·         Identify available community resources

Wednesdays,February 2, 9, 16, 23, 2011 – 7:00-9:00 pm

Location:Victoria Hospital TeleHealth Education Suite

All learning series are provided at no cost to participants, but pre-registration is required.
