Royal Purple is Busy Raising Money for Worthy Projects in January

Our next event is our monthly meeting at 7:30 pm at the Elks Hall on Tues. the 11th.
 
At this meeting we will be initiating one new member and holding a memorial service for our departed members.  For those who wish to see what all we do and what we are about please feel free to come.
 
We will be selling tickets in the Gateway Mall for Peace 100 starting the 17-22 of Jan.
 
The proceeds of this go to the Drug Addictions or D.A.R.E. program to train an officer to work with this program.  It costs $10,000 to train the officer. 
 
The 1st prize is $7500.00 OR A 2011 TNT 550F Skidoo OR a 2011 Outlander 4X4 Red 400 HDE Quad -2nd prize is $1000.00  and 3rd $500.00.  There will also be 7(seven) draws for 100.00 ea.  Tickets are $2.00 ea or 3/5.00. Draw is Jan.29
 
We are selling tickets on the Children's Wish Hospital.  They can be purchased from an Elk or Royal Purple member.  They are $50.00 ea.  1st prize is $50,000.00 2nd is $20,000.00, 3rd is $20,000.00 4th-11th is $1,000.00.  There are 2 Early Bird draws for $1,000.00  One will be drawn on Jan 29th and the 2nd on June 11th.  The final draw will be on Oct. 15th or earlier if tickets are sold.
 
The Elks and Royal Purple Drug awareness Poster contest (that is in the schools ) ends Jan. 31st.  All posters will be judged the middle of Feb.  The date will be announced later.  Honoured Royal Lady Elaine Perkins and Alene Kivimaki will be on CTV at noon soon.
