Community School Events
Tuesday Evening with Bonnie at Wesmor: All Wesmor students, parents, and adult community members are invited to come out and enjoy an evening with Bonnie. From week to week we will do different activities such as: cooking, gym activities, board games, speakers or just sitting and having an evening of coffee and dainties.
Collective Kitchen: Join us in the community room on Wednesdays after school to learn how to prepare and cook a family-friendly meal to take home. You can participate in this yummy program for only $3.00/week. Space is limited. Talk to Bonnie soon!
You & Me Play Date Night: You are invited to share in networking, friendship, crafts, gym activities, healthy snacks, and lots of fun on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Parents must accompany children.
School Community Council: Wesmor Council supports parents and families in becoming involved in their children’s learning. Our next meeting is December 2, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the community room. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Teen Parents: New parents and soon-to-be parents gather weekly on Tuesdays at 1:40 p.m. to discuss topics of interest to them. Sherry Robinson and Jody Foy are co-facilitators.
Mentorship Program: A pilot project developed in co-operation with Community Education supports adult/student mentorships to enhance successful school completion for Grade 12 students.
SADD Group
Students and staff facilitators gather together to develop leadership skills, fundraise, and host events to promote positive lifestyles.

GED Support Classes: Colette Daelick is available Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the library to provide support for adult students preparing to write their GED exams.
School Clothing: Wesmor places a school clothing order each block. Samples of: t-shirts, sweats, hoodies, and shorts are available in the community room in a variety of colours, sizes, and logos.
