City releases preliminary budget

Expect another property tax hike in 2011.
The City of Prince Albert’s preliminary budget released Tuesday, calls for a proposed 6.23 per cent increase to cover the city’s need for an extra $2.19 million.
The public will have the chance to address city council about the budget on Jan. 10 at City Hall. City council will debate the document and make possible revisions on Jan. 14
