Hudson Bay man guilty of fraud

A north-east Saskatchewan farmer will be spending the next two years confined in his home after scamming Crop Insurance and the Wheat Board out of more than $200,000.

Yorkton RCMP caught Barry Goy submitting false documents regarding crop loss as well as the Wheat Board's spring cash advance program.

The Hudson Bay area farmer recieved two years of house arrest after pleading guilty to fraud over $5000

He has to pay all the money back and serve 200 hours of community service.
