Trial continues into new year for ex-police officer
It`s a complicated case where an ex-police officer was fired after deciding to prosecute a violation himself.
Patrick Robin is fighting to get his job back at an appeal hearing of the Saskatchewan Police Commission.
Robin decided to prosecute a case himself and arranged witnesses for that trial even after the crown prosecutor decided to drop the case because he had a reasonable doubt that there would not be a conviction.
Robin was later put on administration leave where his job was in question.
