YWCA – Creating More Than a Shelter for Women and Children

 Winter is fast approaching and everyone is in the festive mood. Soon decorations and lights will be sparkling throughout our Residence to remind everyone of the upcoming season.

 It is especially exciting for the children who live here. Mothers will be preparing  for Christmas concerts, Christmas parties and pictures with Santa. 

In this community and surrounding areas there are many generous individuals and families who drop off donations of gifts and baking for those in need.

On Christmas morning there will be presents for everyone residing at the YWCA. (Adults, children and youth)    

There are a few residents who will be able to travel and visit extended family.

 Anticipating a New Year gives renewed strength and January and February will be filled with winter activities. 

The Winter Festival is always an exciting event and it means February break for our little school age children. 

 Life is good at the YWCA Residence.
