Prince Albert could receive another Tim Hortons

Getting your double-double coffee fix could be made a lot easier in the future.

Tim Hortons is planning to expand the number of restaurants in Prince Albert.

“We will try to find a way to build more restaurants in Prince Albert,” said Douglas Gunn, director of regional marketing in Western Canada for Tim Hortons.

Sources have told paNOW a fourth location will open next year.

Gunn said there is demand for another location, but right now they have no announcements to make.

“We will continue to find (an) opportunity to build a new restaurant when the opportunity presents itself,” he said.

Gunn hinted that an announcement would be forth coming.

“Stay tuned we hopefully will have an opportunity to announce something say over the next two or three months,” he said.

Local franchise owner Ed Zaparaniuk declined to comment.

There are currently three Tim Horton restaurants in Prince Albert.
