The Coach and General Manager of the Prince Albert Raiders insists there will be no fire sale.  The team is mired in a four game losing streak and has just one win in their last 11 games, but Bruno Campese is determined to stay the course.

He says it would be premature to make major changes since injuries have prevented the Raider coaching staff from icing a full and healthy lineup.  Campese points out they have played just one period with all three 20 year olds.  Defensemen Jordan Rowley and Nathan Deck have been out for a combined 25 games.  Rowley returned five games ago but Deck remains out for at least another week.  Meanwhile winger Igor Revenko has now missed two games with a mysterious mid-body injury that should be diagnosed today in Edmonton.

The power play has suffered without the likes of man power advantage quarterbacks Deck and Rowley who were also the top offensive contributors from the back line last season.  Although Revenko's goal totals are down from last season he is producing a point a game and is tied for the team lead in plus-minus at +6 (Deck and Justin Maylan are also at +6) .

Campese says they will be in a better position to assess their needs once their key players are back in the lineup.

The trade deadline is also two months away so Campese sees no reason to rush to the trade market.

The Raiders are seven points behind Brandon in the race for the final playoff spot in the East and open a three game road trip this Friday in Lethbridge with games Saturday in Kootenay and Sunday in Medicine Hat.
