Canwood under drinking water advisory

People living in the Village of Canwood are being told to boil their drinking water.

The Ministry of Environment, along with the Village of Canwood, have issued the drinking water advisory in response to work being done at the water treatment plant.

If water is not being consumed, such as for doing laundry or dishes, it is safe to use from the tap.
It is also safe to use the water for taking showers or baths.

Younger children should be sponge bathed.
