Heavy snowfall warning for north

Parts of Northern Saskatchewan are in store for a blast of winter.

Environment Canada has issued heavy snowfall warnings for Prince Albert National Park, La Ronge and Narrows Hills provincial park.  

The weather agency says moist air combined with a low pressure system will track through Saskatchewan on Monday.

Residents in those areas can expect to see rain changing to snow by the afternoon.

10 to 20 centimetres of snow could be on the ground by the time the system tapers off late Tuesday.
