A man from Yorkton who was found guilty of killing his daughter's boyfriend will get a new trial next spring.
In 2007, Kim Walker was convicted of second-degree murder in the shooting death of James Hayward.
He was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole, but this past summer the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal ruled there had been an error in that trial.
